25 Random Things about Me

1 - I refuse to watch that new show True Beauty. It just makes me want to explode.

2 - I can down a plate of food in less than 2 min.

3 - My friend Steve Smith is my guitar hero.

4 - I think my wife is beautiful when she wakes up and her hair is messy.

5 - I was one signature away from joining the Navy in 1999. They still called my Dad's 
house long after I moved out.

6 - I think my big sister Jana is super cool. Always have.

7 - I think my littler sister is cooler than I am.

8 - My step-dad has the weirdest dreams I have ever heard, is a baseball genius, and loves the weather.

9 - I will probably never buy another guitar amplifier because I have been sold on amp 
modelers (they're just easier to carry)

10 - I know the lyrics to a lot of 2 Pac songs and late 90's R&B.

11 - I think Jesus looked more like Che Guevara than that white guy on those paintings in small country churches.

12 - I hate it when my house is messy. So much so that I can't think strait when it is.

13 - I want to be a professional musician, a scholar, and pastor. Is that even possible?

14 - I constantly shake my leg...is that bad?

15 - I really miss hanging out with my cousin Sarah. She always keeps me grounded.

16 - The people at my church are really awesome and they make me a better Christian.

17 - I listen to classic rock a lot. But, right now I am listening to Bon Jovi and U2.

18 - I didn't like KC when I first came here but now I really like it.

19 - I think I suffered from a bout of depression when I was in 6th grade. I wore a lot of black sweats and stayed at home in front of the tv and didn't really want to do anything.

20 - I went to movies by myself in High School...a lot. I had one close friend (Wes) and unlike me he had a life.

21 - I think it is really cool that Dr. Blevins and I are friends now and we talk about faith and life. He really is a blessing. BTW, if his daughter ever reads this; he is much cooler than you think he is right now.

22 - I secretly hope I don't royally screw my kids up.

23 - When my daughter smiles it makes me so happy. Why is that?

24 - When my son pretends to be Kung Fu Panda it makes me feel better no matter what I am doing or thinking. He is the funniest kid ever.

25 - I want to go back to school and study history, philosophy, and music.
